In Microsoft Outlook 2003 my compose mail window places attached files in the body of the message. How can I have attachments show below the subject line?

My document title

The text formatting of the new message determines how attachments are viewed in the new message.

Attachment appears in the Attach line of the message:

This indicates that the format of the message is HTML or Plain Text. This format creates the most basic e-mails; you will not have full control over the format of the e-mail (different fonts and font color).

Attachment appears in Body of the message:

This indicates that the format of the message is Rich Text. This format allows a more customizable e-mail, allowing for different fonts and font colors to be displayed.

Changing the format of the e-mail:

1. Begin composing a new e-mail
2. Click  Format
3. Select either:

Plain Text
HTML
Rich Text

Note
: You will receive a pop-up from Microsoft Outlook regarding the implications of changing the format. To minimize formatting discrepancies, change the format of the e-mail before you begin writing it.
